Summary
In real life, a trip to the doctor’s office isn’t any fun, no matter how cool the doctor in charge is. In anime, the best doctorshave fans absolutely captivated with their intensity, intelligence, and ability to heal any injury and cure any disease. Until they break out the needles, scalpels, and other pointy instruments, one imagines it would be great to be their patient.
These doctors use their skills and training to perform out-of-this-world feats, usually ones impossible in real life. Sometimes, they will have supernatural abilities (outside of healing powers) that enhance their natural talent in medicine. But most often, they will simply be performing medicine, based in real life but on an entirely different level than any other medical professional.
