Best players to upgrade for EA FC 25 Evolutions
Since you can only choose one player for every Evolution, it’s essential to know which option is best before making a decision in FC 25 Ultimate Team.
Evolutionsallow players to upgrade the attributes of cards through completing challenges. EA made a few changes to the feature forFC 25to improve the overall experience.
Maximum limits to upgrades loosens the entry requirements for Evolutions. As a result, players will have fewer issues using previously evolved players in future upgrades.
In addition, this title reduces the number of Champions and Rivals Evolution challenges and shifts them to more casual game modes. Since its easier to upgrade players, here is a list of all the best options.
Even though EA loosened the entry requirements in FC 25,only select Ultimate Team cards are eligible for upgrades. For example, an Evolution might give a plus 10 upgrade to pace up to a maximum of 90 Pace. In the old system, this Evolution would have had an entry requirement of a maximum of 80 Pace.

This evolution shows a glimpse of what fans remember last year. Meanwhile, upgrading Luis Suarez transforms the card into what we saw during the striker’s prime.
If players haven’t already done the Evolutions, though, Rasmus Hoijlund is the best option for a quadruple Evolution, culminating in 90 Pace, 87 Shooting, 85 Dribbling, and Power Shot PlayStyle Plus.
Best players for The Cannon Evolution in EA FC 25
Cost:750 FC Points or 50,000 coins
This Evolution is a weird one because most of the best options can only be done through multiple different combinations. Pedro Pereira becomes one of the best right backs in Ultimate Team, but it requires three Evolutions.
The only non-combination Evolution we recommend is Brennan Johnson as he becomes a viable winger option for Premier League teams.
Best players for Backline Booster Evolution in EA FC 25
Terracciano is the best player for this Evolution, but you first have to do The Cannon upgrades first. After everything, the versatile fullback will have 88 Pace, 87 Defending, 86 Physical, and four star skills and weak foot.
If you can’t do that Evolution combo, Jordi Alba gets a much-needed Pace upgrade to 87 and becomes an excellent link for players who want to use Messi in their team.
Best players for La Roja Evolution in EA FC 25
If you haven’t done the Ultimate Edition Evolution yet, we recommend using Morales in that upgrade and then upgrading him in La Roja. In the end, you will have a striker with the Power Shot PlayStyle Plus, five star weak foot, four star skills, and 91 Shooting.
As an alternative, Carlos Soler becomes a well-balanced central midfielder for any Premier League squad after this series of upgrades
Best players for Glow Up Evolution in EA FC 25
The Glow Up Evolution requires players to complete Objectives to upgrade Silver cards. And, there are some strong options here.
Our favorite choice is Julian Araujo
RM Marcin Olawale will have 4-Star Skill Moves and Weak Foot, along with good stats. Canadian national team member Tajon Buchanan is fast with 92 PAC, and this Evo boosts his other categories (80 SHO, 79 PHY) to more respectable numbers.
Tim Weah (85 PAC, 85 SHO) is another solid option.
Best Players for Power Surge Evolution in EA FC 25
At least statically, many of the high-end options for this Evolution are from non-power teams and leagues. But one solid option who’s not is Leverkusen RB Nordi Mukiele. Mukiele jumps to an 82 OVR with this Evo, and he’ll have impressive Pace (85) for a defender in the early stages.
Simakan is a good option for the backfield, especially when paired with a French defender.
Best players for Sprint Supreme Evolution in EA FC 25
Cost: Free
This free and straightforward Evolution provides a +10 Sprint Speed and Acceleration boosts to center backs. The upgrade is excellent for defenders who already had good Physical and Defending stats, but not enough Pace to keep up with meta attacking options.
Lisandro Martinezis our favorite choice for Sprint Supreme because 78 Pace and Passing, 79 Dribbling, 85 Defending and 81 Physical with a four-star weak foot makes the Manchester United one of the best starter Premier League center backs in Ultimate Team.
Ibrahima Konate, Cristian Romero, and Matthijs De Light are solid Premier League options, but they don’t have as good Passing or Dribbling stats. For fans who want something different, Kalidou Koulibaly is always a brick wall in FC, and this evolution transforms him into a true lockdown force.
Best players for From Box-to-Box Evolution in EA FC 25
Our favorite choice for this Evolution is takingRuben Loftus-Cheekthrough Intro to Stat Limits and then completing Box-to-Box. 83 Pace, 85 Physical, 86 Dribbling, four-star skills, and weak foot transform the midfielder into a jack of all trades.
Kessieis a good early-game budget midfielder, given his 81 Pace that can keep up with quicker players and good overall Defense (82) and Physical (90).
Szobozlaiwill have 84 PAC and 87 DRI, solid for a CAM in this stage of FC 25. Plus, it should pair well with other Premier Leaguers. Plus, it will have 4-Star Skill Moves and Weak Foot, much likeTijjani Reijnders.
Best players for Octopus Evolution in EA FC 25
Cost: 50,000 Coins/750 Points
This is an expensive Evolution. It might not be for everyone, but there are Gems here.
Rodrigo Bentancur’sbase card will go up to 85 OVR with this Evo, and it will have 4-Star Skill Moves and Weak Foot plus 80+ in Dribbling, Defense, and Physical. Its PAC (79) is servicable.
There aren’t many good options besides Bentancur. But,Ryan Gravenberchisn’t too bad, as it will have 80+ in all major categories aside from Shooting and Defense.
Best players for Intro to Stat Limits Evolution in EA FC 25
Angel Correais always one of the best strikers to use at the start of Ultimate Team, and this Evolution gives the Argentine forward 86 Shooting, 87 Dribbling, and a four-star Weak Foot, and Skill Moves.
Next up,Marcus Rashfordboasts 89 Pace, 86 Shooting, and five-star Skill Moves, making the Manchester United midfielder a perfect starter winger or striker.
If you are an Ultimate Edition owner, you can useTimo Werner,Joao Felix, orSalma Parallueloin the Ultimate Edition Evolution and then put that upgraded card into Stat Limits. Ultimately, you will have a double upgraded card with unbelievable stats for the start of Ultimate Team.

The Premier League tends to be one of the most used leagues for Ultimate Team squads, and there are several phenomenal defenders to use in this Evolution.
Kadioglu,Dalot, andMunoztransform into lightning-quick fullbacks who are reliable on the ball.Gomezis also a quick and powerful center-back for Premier League teams, andKlostermannprovides the same qualities for Bundesliga sides.
Best players for Ultimate Edition Evolution in EA FC 25

As previously mentioned, you may combine two Evolutions for better results. However, if you don’t own the Ultimate Edition,Darwin NunezandInaki Williamsare all must-use attackers.
