Rich Keeble – Monoco
Monoco is played by Rich Keeble, who you might have seen inRivalsandGood Omens. Monoco is a Gestral, a friendly being who loves nothing more than the thrill of battle. Although The Paintress isn’t a threat to Gestrals, he joins the expedition for the opportunity to fight.
Maxence Cazorla – Esquie
Maxence Cazorla only has a few credits to his name, including playing Magneto in the viral ‘Logan the Wolf’ viking-inspired Wolverine fan film (seriously,watch it). He plays Esquie, a mythical figure said to be the most powerful being in the world… but also lazy.
Wait, is that Robert Pattinson in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
No, despite Gustave bearing an uncanny resemblance toBatmanactorRobert Pattinson, that’s not him. Although voiced by Charlie Cox, it’s hard to deny that the character model looks extremely like Pattinson.
Fun (but unrelated) fact: Robert Pattinson and Charlie Cox often hung out when living as struggling actors in LA alongside Andrew Garfield, Eddie Redmayne, and Jamie Dornan.
