A Rising ChorusinDestiny 2continues in its second week, focusing on analyzing specimens on Nessus. Guardians must work with Failsafe in Episode Echoes Act 1 to determine what is happening to the Vex and the planet. After the events ofThe Final Shape, a new development has begun on Nessus, unlike anything seen before. Week 1 began with Failsafe contacting the Vanguard about strange behavior in the Vex. She, with help from the Guardian, determined that both the enemy and the planet are changing. Players were tasked with locating radiolaria samples on Nessus.
Week 2 inA Rising Chorusbegins by speaking with Failsafe. She was relocated from Nessus to theH.E.L.M. inDestiny 2for protection. While the Episode system replaced Seasons, some key features remain. Failsafe is the driving force inA Rising Chorusand your vendor. Guardians are tasked with scanning Nessus for specimens. These will need to be uploaded to Failsafe for further research. Lastly, Guardians must complete two activities and return to the H.E.L.M. to finish week 2.

Act 1 Walkthrough
After speaking to Failsafe to begin step 8, head to the Exodus Black Landing Zone on Nessus. Upon landing, you will notice a meter on the left of the screen. This is called theProximity Sensor and fills up the closer Guardians get to the objective. There are three specific spots that Failsafe will have you scan before detecting a Nessian Specimen.
Once collected, launch the Exodus Crash Vanguard Strike. Before completing the activity, the Nessian Specimen must be delivered to a terminal in the mainframe room. This can be found right after defeating the tank.

After delivering the specimen, complete the Strike to move on to the next step. Guardians will earnsome Strange Coins inDestiny 2as a bonus for finishing a ritual activity. You will then need tocomplete a Breach Executable and locate a sample with a unique energy signal, which Failsafe calls NES002-C. This can be tricky as Guardians must pay close attention to the left side of their screen when the Proximity Sensor appears.
Once completed, return to Failsafe in the H.E.L.M. Finally, Ikora will speak with Guardians about a potential new threat looming. This concludes week two, and further steps forA Rising Choruswill begin after the next reset inDestiny 2.
