Diablo 4’s Berserk crossover DLC costs an eye-watering amount & players aren’t happy

Diablo 4’s Berserk crossover DLC enables players to dress up their characters with iconic cosmetics from the legendary dark fantasy manga. However, the $150 price tag is proving hard to stomach, even for the most hardcore Berserk fans.

From May 6 to June 3, Diablo 4 players can visit the in-game shop to purchaseBerserk-themed items. In total, there are six different cosmetic packs. Four of them are outfits for the Barbarian, Rogue, and Necromancer. One is a pet bundle themed around the Chimimoryo, the fleshy astral creature Guts encounters in Qliphoth.

The last cosmetic is the Warhorse of the Hawk, which comes with Fantasia Mount, Fantasia’s Bridle, Reborn Band of the Hawk Mount Trophy, and God Hand’s Gift Mount Trophy.

Diablo 4 players call out $150 Berserk DLC

While the DLC looks incredibly cool, it comes with a hefty $150 price tag. To make matters worse, no bundle includes all the above items. Instead, players are forced to purchase them separately if they want to add Gut’s collection to their wardrobe.

Despite the full DLC set costing a total of 16,500 Platinum, oneRedditornoted that the only bundle that covers the full amount is the 18,500 Platinum bundle, which can be purchased for $149.99.

As pointed out byRock Paper Shotgun, players can purchase four physical volumes of the deluxe Berserk mangafor $140. Hell, you could even spend an extra $49.99 and get Guts’ signature Dragon Slayer Sword bookend for $199.99.

As you can imagine, the pricing of the Berserk DLC hasn’t gone down well with the Diablo 4 community, with many calling out Blizzard for the “insane” prices.

“The current individual prices should be the price of a damn bundle,” wrote one angry player onReddit. “You can barely see the f*cking cosmetics on your character anyway, so it is hard to justify buying anything at all for this game.”
