TheFortniteChapter 5 Season 3island features many great new locations and terrain features, including Oasis Pools. These special bodies of water can be found in the game’s new Wasteland biome, and players can take a refreshing dip to regenerate health and shields. As a bonus, restoring health and shields using an Oasis Pool is also essential for completing a new weekly quest.

The Wasteland biome contains many of thebest landing spots inFortnite, with several major Points of Interest and tough boss enemies that create great opportunities to obtain high-quality gear. As such, many players make it a priority to land in the Wasteland, and it can often be dangerous. Maintaining both health and shields is crucial to survival, and Oasis Pools can be helpful in that regard.

All Pool Locations

There are a total of five Oasis Pools on theFortnite Chapter 5 Season 3island, all of which can be found in the Wasteland:

Some of the Oasis Pools are easily visible from the Battle Bus. However, others are hidden in less obvious locations, making them tricky to find.

The water in Oasis Pools is a different color from other bodies of water onFortniteIsland, although it can be hard to tell the difference at certain times of day.

Oasis Pools have an interesting property: any player who swims in them has their health and shields gradually restored. The water will regenerate health before shields at a rate of around 1 point per second, up to the maximum limit of 100HP and 100 Shields.

While this can be useful for players andany NPCs they’ve recruited inFortnite, it’s not the best option for restoring health or building shields. Small and Large Shield Potions will provide 25 and 50 shield points in much less time, and the same applies to Bandages and Med Kits. Injured players are much better off using potions and food items to restore health, as these are more efficient.

However, Oasis Pools can be an excellent way to top up health and shields at no cost. They’re also part of a recent weekly quest, where players can restore 150 health or shields using an Oasis Pool for 15,000FortniteBattle Pass XP.
