Fans discover MKBHD’s wrecked Porsche & it’s for sale
Fans of Marques ‘MKBHD’ Brownlee have discovered the YouTuber’s Porsche 911 is going up for auction after it was damaged in a car accident.
Outside of his regular tech reviews, MKBHD creates car-focused videos for a second channel aptly titled ‘Auto Focus.’ He has reviewed various cars over the years, including his daily driver, a 2024 Porsche 911 Turbo S.

He replaced his Tesla Model S Plaid with the sports car, and even went as far as saying his Porsche was the “best car in the world,”despite a recall that made him stop driving the car for some time.
On Friday, May 30, fans on social media discovered an auction listing for an identical-looking Porsche 911 Turbo S that had been involved in a crash, and many identified the car as Brownlee’s.

At the time of writing, the YouTuber has not spoken out about the discovery or the accident. It’s also unclear what caused the damage or if Brownlee was the one driving the car when it happened.
However, fans used a picture of the Vehicle Identification Number on the auction to cross-reference it to his video review of the car that briefly showed the VIN on camera.

Back in November 2024, MKBHD faced backlash after driving his Lamborghini Urus at 96mph in a 35mph zone, despite signs that advised drivers to watch for children in the area.
The clip was included in a YouTube video uploaded to his channel. However, afterissuing an apology on X, he removed it from the upload entirely.

In December, police bodycam footage revealedBrownlee getting pulled over for various traffic infractionswhile driving his Porsche as well as the Tesla he owned before.
