How to play Nintendo Switch 2 early ahead of official release
The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience has been announced alongside thesystem’s first official trailer, giving fans in the United States of America, Asia, and Europe the chance to try the handheld-console hybrid for themselves.
While the Nintendo Switch 2 is still set for its 2025 release date, the bulk ofnew information about the consoleis being announced in aDirect planned for April 2. This will no doubt include key details, like the system’s price tag and specifications.
Shortly after the Direct, fans will have the chance to visit the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience, which is an event being held in certain cities around the globe. Here’s the full rundown.

A few days after the April Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, the Experience events kick off in North America and France, before moving around the world. These are the dates and cities where it’s being held:
Register & waitlist for Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events
To register for the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience, fans needed a to visitthis linkand register using an active Nintendo Account. Registration is now closed as of January 27.
Registration wa open from Jan. 17 at 12PM PT / 2PM CT / 3PM ET until Jan. 26 at 11:59 p.m. local time for each Event location. Successful applicants heard back on January 27, while those unsuccessful have been advised to jump on a waitlist. learn shortly after the drawing is closed.
Waitlists open up on January 29 at 1PM PT / 3PM CT / 4PM ET. They are on a first-come, first-served basis, so you’ll need to be quick in order to snatch up any last spots at your local Experience.
