Disney Dreamlight Valleyhas officially launched its Lucky Dragon update, which includes new characters, a new star path, and the Memory Mania event. While the new characters are here to stay, the Memory Mania event is a limited-time promotional event forInside Out 2that runs fromJune 26th to July 17th. During this event, players can unlock new companions.
Unlike some past events where it was unclear how to start, players should notice a letter in their mailbox after installing the latest update. The letter will detail that to participate in this event, you must track down some items and restore a couple of Riley’s memories, but it will give no further guidance on exactly where to start looking.

How To Complete The Memory Mania Event
Restore All Riley’s Memories By Finding Her Hockey Items
To start, players can open their Dreamlight menu at any point and scroll down to the Collection tab, where they should see several tasks with a head as the icon. These tasks will allow you to track what you have already completed and what remains.There are only three memories to restore but five specific tasks to complete. Each memory qualifies as a task, while one is completing all three memories, and the last is collecting all the memorabilia in general.
There are three unique types of memorabilia to collect, and each one will only spawn three times at any given time.The three items include a Cake, a Trophy, and Hockey Gear. Unfortunately, finding each of these items once will not be enough to uncover the associated memory.
Each item must be discovered several times before you have unlocked all the pieces of each memory. Note that, as stated, only three of each item can exist at a time, so there will be nine in total at all times: 3 Cakes, 3 Hockey Gear, and 3 Trophies.
After an item has been collected, there is a roughly 20-minute cooldown before it begins to respawn and can be collected again. Also, not every item will yield a memory piece. Some will only yield Coins, which is why one of the tasks is to collect 200 Memorabilia, even though there are only three memories to complete.
Complete all three memories: Yellow, Blue, and Pink.
Finish Feeling Nostalgic, Feeling Expansive, and Feeling Joyful.

Daisy Duck has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley and with her, she brings along her Fashion Boutique where players can show off their creativity.
Keep in mind that placement is entirely random inside the designated areas. While Riley’s Cake will be found in Moana, Wall-E, andRemy’s Realm inDisney Dreamlight Valley, there may be times when all three cakes spawn in just one of the realms or one in each. These are just the possible locations, but there is no guarantee of how many will appear in each; only three will spawn at once. So check everywhere in these locations regularly.
Since this is a limited-time event, players should try to complete it as soon as possible. While some previous event items have shown up in the premium shop, there is no guarantee that these companions will, especially since they are part of a promotional event for the current release ofInside Out 2.
