Kevin Feige says Mephisto’s “potential is clear”
Fans were disappointed when Mephisto didn’t appear in WandaVision, but Kevin Feige said during a recent press conference: “He was never part of WandaVision. We’ve talked about that.
“[Director] Matt [Shakman]’s talked about that. [Creator] Jac Schaefer’s talked about that. He was never part of WandaVision. But the enthusiasm with which he was theorized on that was certainly cool and fun to watch.

“He’s another character that, pre-MCU, would have been hard to do. He’s a devil. How do you do that character? But he’s a formative character. He was a big part of Thanos’ storyline in the comics. So again, now that he’s here, the potential is clear.”
When asked if the studio plans to “use more” of Mephisto in the future, Feige simply said “Yes.”

That could be happening sooner rather than later, as Marvel is rumored to beadapting a big Mephisto storylinein the near future.
