The world ofNarutois filled with many skilled ninjas who have access to many different fighting techniques and jutsu types. These techniques include genjutsu and taijutsu, in which some shinobi train to be experts in one style. However, very few shinobi possess great speed and use that to their advantage. Naruto, Minato and Tobirama are some of the few shinobi with incredible speed and use that speed in combat.
Naruto, Minato and Tobirama reached the title of Hokage by using their speed with their unique techniques to defeat their adversaries andclaim the title of Hokage. It is difficult to pinpoint which one of the three is considered the fastest, butthere are arguments to be made about who could beconsidered the fastest inNaruto.
Some other characters could be considered the fastest in the series, but their accomplishments and strengths do not match up to these three.
How Minato mastered Tobirama’s Flying Thunder God Technique
Minato Has More Experience Using The Technique
Tobirama is known as one of the most powerful ninjas in history because of his battle skills and the jutsu he created. He isknown as one of the fastest shinobi to ever live because of the Flying Thunder God Technique. It is known as a space-time ninjutsu that allows the user to mark a location and teleport instantly to it. Tobirama kept developing jutsu to further increase his speed and even managed to be faster than the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Minato in his base form is faster than both Naruto and Tobirama if they aren’t using any special techniques to increase their speed.
Minato adapted the Flying Thunder God Technique and used it as one of his signature moves. Minato was able to teleport further than Tobirama and his reaction time was superior, which helped him move faster, and this was seen during the Fourth Great Ninja War when Tobirama admitted to Minato being faster than him when they arrived at the battlefield. Even without the technique, Minato’s speed and use of the body flicker gave him the nickname “The Yellow Flash”. In his base form, heis faster than both Naruto and Tobirama if they aren’t using any special techniques to increase their speed.

When using this, Naruto was able to keep up with Minato and, because of his large chakra reserve, his stamina was always high. Naruto was able to save Kakashi and Might Guy from tailed beast bombs in an instant and dodged a maximum-speed Raikage attack.Naruto was able to use a multitude of powersto increase his overall speed and strength.
When Naruto was revived by Hagoromo Otsutsuki and received the power of Six Paths Chakra, he was able to dodge attacks thatmove at the speed of light. Utilizing the power of the Kurama Chakra Mode and his Sage Mode gave him the ability to move at speeds faster than the Flying Thunder God Technique.
Naruto, when using the full power of his Six Paths Chakra, moves faster than both Minato and Tobirama. Along with his speed, he had “God” level attacks that he could use which put him at a superior level than both Tobirama and Minato inNaruto.
