Meet the new dynamic duo! Wonder Woman teams up with the unlikeliest of allies, Robin, on a top secret mission to save their fellow heroes. Will Damian and Diana’s quest to break into Waller’s Gamorra supermax prison be a successful one? Or is it all part of a more elaborate trap for Wonder Woman and her new sidekick?

The solicitation forWonder Woman #12reveals that Diana is teaming up with Damian Wayne for a mission to break into Waller’s metahuman prison in Gamorra. Tony S. Daniel’s variant forWonder Woman #12provides a look at this new partnership, showing Wonder Woman and Robin posing side-by-side.
Robin is Wonder Woman’s Shocking New Sidekick
For months, Amanda Waller has been carefully planning her greatest attack on the metahuman community. By partnering with Failsafe and the Brainiac Queen, Waller is going to steal the special abilities of every super-powered person on Earth. Not content with just robbing them of powers, Waller is also using a group of Amazos known as Task Force VII to apprehend every powerless hero and villain on Earth and have them locked up in a specially designed prison on the island nation Gamorra. With the pieces nearly in place,Amanda Waller is close to bringing the DC Universe under her heel.
Fans who know about Damian’s past are well aware that he was raised by Talia al Ghul, a skilled fighter and occasional leader of the League of Assassins. While he learned a lot from his mother, she’s by no means as skilled or knowledgeable about fighting as Wonder Woman. Diana is an Amazon, renowned fighters who are just as, if not more, brutal than any warrior in the League of Assassins. But Wonder Woman is a far better influence than Talia al Ghul has ever been, meaningthis potential partnership could have quite a positive effect on Damian Wayne.

Wonder Woman is the Mentor Robin Really Needs
Damian Wayne has come a long way since his days training under Talia. But Robin is the kind of person who always feels there’s room for improvement. Working together with Wonder Woman might be more out of necessity than anything else, but perhaps it could lead to Diana becoming a real mentor figure to Damian. While he’s come far in his young age, working with possibly the best fighter in the DC Universe would do wonders for Robin. Hopefully, spending time withWonder Womanwill lead to some truly positive growth for Damian Wayne’sRobin.
Wonder Woman #12is available on August 21st.
