Severance renewed for Season 3 but creator has one big worry about how the show ends
Severance Season 3has just been confirmed by Apple TV – however, after the traumatic events of the Season 2 finale, the show’s creator has one concern.
It was only a matter of time.Severanceis Apple TV’s biggest show ever, dethroning Ted Lasso almost immediately after Season 2 premiered. Hopefully we won’t be waiting another three years for the third season.

“While I have no memory of this, I’m told making Season 3 will be equally enjoyable, though any recollection of these future events will be forever and irrevocably wiped from my memory as well,” Ben Stiller said in a statement.
This news comes as fans recover fromSeason 2 Episode 10, which arguably ends on an even bigger cliffhanger than “She’s alive!” Big questions remain – and you may not like the answers.

Severance creator says he won’t “please everybody” with Season 3 and beyond
Speaking toRolling Stone, Dan Erickson was asked about how fans have responded to the show, often coming up with well-thought-out, deep theories about Lumon and the series’ characters.
“I also feel a little anxious about it, because I think that the more people get an idea in their head of what specifically they think is going on, the more likely they are to be disappointed if that’s not the case, and to possibly feel like a promise was made and not fulfilled,” he said.

“I don’t want anyone to feel that way. So, I do worry a little bit that we’re not going to be able to please everybody at the end of the day. What we have planned for where it all goes is extremely exciting.
“But at the end of the day, I wish we could make a million versions of this show that fulfill what everybody wants it to be. But I can only hope that what we end up coming up with is satisfying to people.”

Severance star says Season 2 finale will leave “a lot of questions” for fans
Some fans have compared Severance to Lost – for better or worse, as that show ended on an infamously divisive note.
“There are things, of course, that are happening on the show that are there to build out and enrich the world, and we’re not going to go through and explain the genesis of all those things and take the fun out,” Erickson added.
“But in terms of the mysteries that we are specifically pointing at, I like to think that people will be satisfied by the answers.”
