Spoiler alert: The following article contains spoilers from Pretty Little Liars: Summer School episode 6.
Summary
Bloody Rose puts Imogen through one of her brutal tests inPretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolepisode 6, which ends with the villain’s identity seemingly being revealed. But I believe the show may be trying to trick the audience and the person behind the bloody gauze isn’t whoBailee Madison’s characterthinks it is. Instead, the Bloody Rose “reveal” is just a fakeoutand myself and other fans will learn who is truly behind season 2’s terrors sometime during the remaining two episodes.
Max releases new episodes ofPretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolon Thursdays, and the finale is set to premiere on July 19, 2025.

SincethePretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolpremiere, viewers have been trying to deduce who Bloody Rose is and why they are terrorizing Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa.Almost everyone (especially the new characters) has been a suspect at one point or another(at least, for me). However, I still could never have guessed the name that slips out of Imogen’s mouth when her friends ask herwho Bloody Rose is inPretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolepisode 6 — Imogen’s mom, Davie Adams.
It’s Hard To Believe Bloody Rose Is Imogen’s Mom In Pretty Little Liars: Summer School
Imogen Claims She Saw Davie Under Bloody Rose’s Bandages
Bloody Rose attacks Imogen at “Redemption House” (more specifically, Davie Adams' old bedroom) inPretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolepisode 6. After a brief struggle, Bloody Rose pins Imogen on the bed and starts choking her. Imogen is able to get her hands on her face, though, and begins ripping off her bloody bandages. Once they are gone, Imogen lets out a blood-curdling scream, and her friends come rushing in to see her on the bed holding the gauze in shock (and Bloody Rose gone). Whenthey ask her who Bloody Rose is, Imogen replies, “My mom.”

Pretty Little Liars: Summer Schoolepisode 6 never shows Bloody Rose’s faceafter Imogen tears the bandages off. We only see Imogen’s reaction, and then, we’re supposed to take the teenager’s word for it that the villain is her dead mother. But the fact that episode 6 doesn’t include even a glimpse at Bloody Rose’s revealed face leads me to believe she isn’t Davie Adams.
Imogen, who has been hallucinating things all season, may think she saw her mother, but her mind is likely playing tricks on her. Or Bloody Rose may purposely be trying to look like Davie to mess with Imogen. Whatever the case, I strongly believe Bloody Rose isn’t Davie Adams and the real surprise about who is behind the bloody gauze has yet to be revealed inthePretty Little Liarshorror spinoff.

Wait, Are Pretty Little Liars: Summer School & Riverdale In The Same Universe?
One Pretty Little Liars: Summer School character made an offhand comment in episode 6 that seemingly alluded to someone in the CW series Riverdale.
Who Could Really Be Bloody Rose In Pretty Little Liars: Summer School?
Many Suspects Still Remain
Of course, Davie Adams may actually be Bloody Rose, but since the odds are against her (including the fact that she died inPretty Little Liars: Original Sin), the mystery still has to be solved. My best bet is that Martha Beasley, Kelly’s mother, is the season’s villain. It appears that Bloody Rose and Our Mother of Holy Grace are connected, especially since most of the people she has murdered are tied to the church (Sandy and Pastor Malachi).
Dr. Sullivan could be working with Bloody Rose, along with the other characters I find quite suspicious — Jen and Christian.
Plus, Martha has been strange since the premiere, and she lost her husband and daughter inOriginal Sin. She might blame Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa for their deaths, which is why Bloody Rose has been targeting them. However, if it’s not Martha,my other theories are that the antagonist is Rebecca (Imogen’s father’s fiancee) or Dr. Sullivan.Pretty Little Liars: Summer School’s crossover charactermight be too obvious to be the villain, though. Nevertheless, Dr. Sullivan could be working with Bloody Rose, along with the other characters I find quite suspicious — Jen and Christian.
