Episode 9 ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimeseason 3focused heavily on Diablo, who had been sent to confront the new King of Falmuth as they prepared to launch an attack on Youm and the previous king, who were holed up in Count Nidol’s castle. The King accused Diablo of being the one to kill Reyhiem, even producing a magic crystal ball seemingly showing Reyhiem’s final moments. However, fans know that this wasn’t the case, and Diablo has simply been set up. Diablo was actually incredibly patient with the humans of Falmuth, even as they attacked him and tried to kill him. The Seven Days Clergy also appeared, attempting to kill Diablo themselves.
The episode ended by catching back up with Rimuru and the injured Hinata, as Rimuru discovered that Hinata’s body is extremely resistant to magic, and thus unable to be healed by his potions. When Hinata’s soldiers attempted to help her with their holy powers, however, they were restrained. The Seven Days Clergy once again showed up, claiming their intent was to kill Hinata for going against orders, even though she very much did not. Rimuru will have to deal with these schemers if he wants to save Hinata’s life.
