Summary

In turn,the film’s biggest challenge is reinventing its unoriginal premise in a way that feels fresh and exciting. It attempts to do so with a blend of action and comedy. However, Perry’s debut featureDay Shiftreceived mixed reviewsfor its uninspired action-comedy, despite a capable star in Jamie Foxx. It remains to be seen if Perry can improve upon his past mistakes, this time with Bautista.
