TikTok viral ‘Pretty Little Baby’ singer Connie Francis dead at 87
Connie Francis, the iconic pop singer best known for hits like ‘Who’s Sorry Now’ and the TikTok viral song ‘Pretty Little Baby,’ has died at the age of 87.
The singer found a wave of popularity onTikTokearlier this year, where “Pretty Little Baby” became the soundtrack forover 1.8 million videos.

Francis joined the platform in June 2025 to personally thank fans for bringing her 1960s ballad back into the spotlight.

Her video, which quickly went viral and amassed over 16 million views, marked a rare appearance from the star, who had largely stepped back from public life in recent years.
On Thursday, July 17, Francis’ publicist announced that the singer had died at 87 years old.

“It is with a heavy heart and extreme sadness that I inform you of the passing of my dear friend Connie Francis last night,” Ron Roberts, the president of Concetta Records, a music label owned by Francis and her royalties/copyright manager, wrote on Facebook.
The man didn’t reveal the cause of Connie’s death, but had posted earlier in July about the singer being in the hospital.

He said: “Connie continues to remain under hospital care as she undergoes tests to determine the cause of her discomfort.”
