Almost two decades after their last hit feature film, the beloved claymation icons returned inWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. Created for Aardman Animations by Nick Park back in 1989, theWallace & Gromitfranchise concerns a bumbling inventor named Wallace and his silent beagle companion Gromit, who typically cause chaos with their unusual inventions. After three popular short films throughout the late ’80s and 1990s, the claymation duo jumped to the big screen and found an even bigger international audience with 2005’sWallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Wallace and Gromit’s first jump to the big screen was a smashing success, andThe Curse of the Were-Rabbitis generally recognized as one ofthe best stop-motion movies of all time. However, the titular duo behind the classic shorts and feature films have been largely absent, and barring a new short in 2008, haven’t been seen on the big or small screen for the better part of 20 years. Fortunately, Aardman produced a brand-new adventure featuring the classic clay characters, andWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowlis clearly steeped in the rich lore of the decades-old franchise.

A few months after the first, a second teaser forWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowlwas revealed in August 2024. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Ending & Spoilers
A Classic Villain Finally Gets His Comeuppance
Much like the previous Wallace and Gromit movie,Curse of the Were-Rabbit,Vengeance Most Fowlcranked up the stakes with the return of Feathers McGraw. The classic claymation villain vexed the title duo to the very end, but unsurprisingly, a happy finale concludes the movie. As with most family-friendly films, the ending is only half as important as the rest of the story, but the action-packed conclusion isn’t without its merits either. Perhaps most interestingly, the ending ofWallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowlestablishes a new dynamic within the household with the inclusion of Norbot.
