The Witcher 3: Wild Huntfor the Nintendo Switch will be out next week, but a Reddit user claims that the street date for the physical copy has been broken by a local Walmart.
The photos first came to surface on theNintendo Switch subreddit; two different Reddit usersuploaded photosto the site showcasing a physical Switch copy ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition. The user claims that they picked up a copy of the game at their local Walmart for $50. That’s $10 less than what iscurrently advertised on Nintendo’s Game Store.
While the $50 price tag is certainly worth talking about, what makes the thread and photo even more interesting is that the physical version of the Complete Edition at Walmart includes additional items in the package. These items are not advertised onThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntpage in the Nintendo Game Store, nor on Best Buy or Walmart. On Amazon, there are images of some of the items that come with this edition of the game, but the product description is still missing.
As you may see in the photo below, a physical Switch copy ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Editionincludes the game case and cartridge, as well as additional items not found in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. These items include stickers, a physical map of the in-game universe, and a ‘thank you’ note from the game’s developer, CD Projekt Red.
