xQc defends Adin Ross’ Twitch unban after Hasan Piker slams decision
xQc expressed his support for Twitch’s decision to finallyunban Adin Rossafter two years, following Hasan Piker’s criticism of the ban being lifted
Adin’s Twitch account wasindefinitely bannedon July 11, 2025, shortly after announcing hismove to Kick,where he remains a co-owner and streamer. Despite several efforts to overturn the permanent ban, he claimed during Agent’s Twitch stream thathis ban would be liftedon March 29, which came true.
His return, however, has sparked controversy, dividing the streaming community. While critics like Hasan Piker have openly condemned Twitch’s decision, xQc and others have defended his unban.
Hasan criticizes Twitch unbanning Adin Ross
Hasan initially commented in Adin’s return stream in his live chat, stating, “Yikes this won’t last long,” and then later went live on Twitch and addressed the situation:
“I just don’t want other content creators to get f**king destroyed by this kind of toxic behavior. Okay, that’s it,” Hasan explained.
“He has done virtually every bad decision you can take, he’s done all that. He recently had Andrew Tate on his, he paid him money to be on his platform on Kick, and I mean he has done a metric ton of awful s**t.
“…I hope that he is limited in what he can and can’t say now that he is on, maybe that’s the silver lining. Maybe I’m just like desperately looking for a silver lining here because I just can’t comprehend why a company that ostensibly cared about what kind of content is allowed on the platform would make a decision like this.”

A live chatter replied, “Nar big disagree, there is a big difference in not having a say on whether or not he’s unbanned and openly saying. I don’t know, maybe he changed, good luck.”
To which he said, “Yeah I think these are people that just don’t want the endless torrent of fking hate coming their way. Doxing, swatting, st like that, as let’s be f**king real, Adin Ross entertained that for years.
“He literally fking hyped it up, he loved that st, 100% and he got rewarded for it and he never actually turned around and said ‘Yeah, maybe this is not the way to go.'”
xQc responds to Hasan over Adin Ross Twitch return comments
While streaming on Twitch, xQc watched a clip from Hasan’s stream discussing the situation and responded:
“People get banned over the most outrageous s**t, over and over and over again and never get permabanned. Okay, Adin gets permabanned, Adin gets unbanned, and for two years it’s like ‘Dude what if this happens, what if that, this would, this could, this would, this will, this could, this can, this could,’ right?”
He continued, “It’s insane. Bro, I hate this like big wall of smoke, cloud of smoke that everybody is trying to cook.”
The streamer further stated, “If you’re somebody who s**ts on people that do better, you are inherently jealous. You’re jealous because you feel threatened that you are as a person, when you try to do better you don’t, and you don’t evolve.
“When you see other people do better you wish you could do that and it casts a shadow on you and it makes you upset. It hurts you at your core, your identity starts to erode because you’re doing something that you can not do.”
Leading up to Adin Ross being unbanned on March 29, he revealed that he wasworking with Twitchto reverse his permanent ban in the weeks prior.
This followed the streaming platform’s announcement in February ofmajor changes to their ban system, allowing indefinite suspensions like Adin’s to be appealed, with streamers eligible to apply for reinstatement six months after their initial ban.
